The Benton Bucks are a basketball program designed for homeschool athletes, run by volunteer parents. Our purpose is to assist parents with the development of Christian characteristics in their sons through the use of team sports. (We are excited to announce that we are now offering Boys  Cross Country beginning in the fall of 2022!)

Our organization is geared towards teaching godly principles, integrity, and good sportsmanship more than playing to win.  Though we play our best in hopes we win, our goal is to play in a way that honors God in all areas. We also want to encourage relationship building and enjoy being together as a team. 

 

We have Elementary, Junior High, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams. Dads and alumni are encouraged to get involved with coaching at whatever level of availability they have.

 

Our season begins September 1st and ends in February/March. Practices are held primarily in  Goshen, Indiana area.  Home games  are played in Syracuse, Indiana at Quaker Haven Gym located near Dewart Lake. Most of our games are within an hour's drive of Goshen. Our games are split between Christian schools and other homeschool teams or club teams. Our JH, JV, and V teams end the season competing in the NCHBC (National Christian Homeshool Basketball Championship) Regionals and Championship
